University-Age Conference, Spring 2007


Praise the Lord for the college conference! This time we will be getting into the Line of Life with Abraham, including God's calling, Living by Faith and the Birth and Growth of Isaac.
Recommended reading: Life Study of Genesis msgs 41-56

When:  6pm Friday, 30th March- 12pm Monday, 2nd April
Where: Cefn Lea Park, Wales, UK 
Who: University students and Sixth-formers (16+).
Cost: £60 (£70 after Monday 19th March)

This will be a beneficial time to meet other Christ-loving students and enjoy the unsearchable riches of Christ in the Word. With students from across the country and Europe attending, we expect a wonderful time of singing, fellowship and enjoyment.

Remember to bring hymn book, sleeping bag and pillowcase.

Travel to the Conference


By Coach from London
There will be two coaches will leave from East Finchleytube station. Those taking the late coach must bring a packed dinner, there will not be time to stop on the way. The coaches should return by 5pm Monday.

Coaches: 2:00pm & 6:30pm (bring pack dinner)
Journey time: ~5 hours
Cost: £15
 
By Road
Cefn Lea park is on the A483, Newtown to Llandrindod Wells road, about 1 mile south of the village of Dolfor. The entrance to the site is on the right as you travel from Newtown.

By Train
The local rail station is Newtown, Powys. This is about 20 minutes from Cefn Lea Park.

Information For Those Coming From Overseas

Flights
Please arrive no later than 12pm Friday and depart no earlier than 8pm
Monday. We suggest you fly together with others from your area.
 
Birmingham Airport
If you are not staying for the conference in London the following
weekend, we recommend that you fly into Birmingham International
Airport
. From there you can take the train from Birmingham to Newtown. This is shorter than travelling form London.
 
London Airports
Alternatively, you can fly into Luton or Stansted airport. Remember to
give yourself enough time to catch the coaches!
 
Hospitality
Hospitality arrangements can be made to take care of you in Birmingham or London before or after the conference. However, unless you are staying for the following conference in London, we ask you would only stay Thursday night and Monday night.
